Office Ergonomic Assessments
One-on-one workstation assessments for office and administrative teams in Greenville and across Upstate SC. Jeff reviews each setup with the employee at their own desk and documents what was changed and what still needs equipment.
When an Office Ergonomic Assessment Makes Sense
Office work causes a different kind of strain than the production floor: hours in one posture, screens set too low or too far away, and keyboards and mice that push wrists and shoulders out of position. Office assessments are for administrative, accounting, customer service, engineering, and management teams. Employers usually call when:
- Employees report neck, shoulder, back, or wrist discomfort
- The office is moving, being reconfigured, or getting new furniture
- New hires are being set up at their workstations
- HR receives requests for ergonomic equipment and wants an objective review
How It Works
Before the Visit
You send a list of employees to assess and any discomfort concerns already reported. An optional short discomfort questionnaire helps Jeff see patterns before he arrives. Employees are scheduled in one-on-one time slots.
At Each Desk
Jeff watches the employee work, then reviews chair height and support, desk height, monitor height and distance, keyboard and mouse position, lighting, and work habits. Adjustments that can be made on the spot are made with the employee.
After the Visit
HR receives a written summary for each workstation: what was adjusted, what equipment is recommended, and habits or stretches the employee was shown.

Frequently Asked Questions — Office Ergonomics
What do employees need to do to prepare?
Just be at their desk at their scheduled time. It helps if they note when and where they feel discomfort during the day, and which tasks take up most of their time.
Will you recommend new chairs and desks for everyone?
No. Most improvements come from adjusting the furniture and equipment you already have. When something does need to be replaced or added, the summary says exactly what and why, so you can budget for it.
Do you assess sit-stand desks?
Yes. Jeff sets sitting and standing heights for each employee and gives practical guidance on how often to change position.
Does every employee need an assessment?
Not necessarily. Many companies start with employees who are reporting discomfort, then add new hires and anyone moving desks or getting new furniture. Jeff can help you decide where to start.
Do you work with offices in Greenville and Spartanburg?
Yes. Jeff provides office assessments across Upstate SC, including Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson.
