On-Site BLS Training for Healthcare and Dental Teams

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification taught at your practice for physicians, nurses, dentists, hygienists, assistants, therapists, and front-office staff in Greenville and across Upstate SC.

Who It Is For

BLS Certification Without Sending Staff Off-Site

Most healthcare employers and licensing bodies expect clinical staff to hold current BLS certification. Sending people to public classes one or two at a time is hard to schedule and easy to let slip. Jeff brings the American Heart Association BLS course to your practice so the whole team certifies together.

BLS training on-site works well for:

  • Dental offices — dentists, hygienists, and assistants
  • Physician practices and urgent care clinics
  • Physical therapy, chiropractic, and rehabilitation clinics
  • Other healthcare teams whose certifications are expiring together

Practices usually call when several cards expire in the same few months, when new clinical hires need certification, or when an office manager wants every renewal on one date.

How It Works

1

Before: Roster and Date

Send a list of participants and their current card expiration dates. Jeff confirms pricing and a class date that works around your patient schedule.

2

During: Hands-On Class

The AHA BLS course covers high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants; AED use; bag-mask ventilation; two-rescuer and team resuscitation; and choking relief. Participants complete the AHA skills test and written exam.

3

After: Digital Cards

Each participant receives a digital AHA BLS card within 2 business days, and your office manager receives the full card list for your records.

Frequently Asked Questions — BLS for Healthcare Teams

How long is AHA BLS certification valid?

Two years. Jeff can schedule your team's renewal before cards expire so no one lapses.

What is the difference between BLS and Heartsaver CPR?

BLS is the American Heart Association course for healthcare providers and covers team-based resuscitation and bag-mask ventilation. Heartsaver CPR AED is designed for general workplace responders. See CPR and First Aid training for Heartsaver courses.

Can you train our whole office at once?

Classes run from 4 to 12 participants, and Jeff can teach more than one class in a day. For larger groups, ask about adding a second AHA instructor so up to 24 people can train at once.

Do dental offices need blood-borne pathogens training too?

Yes. OSHA's bloodborne pathogens standard applies to dental and medical practices, and exposed staff need training at assignment and every year. Jeff can teach blood-borne pathogens training on the same visit as BLS.

When do participants receive their cards?

Digital AHA BLS cards are emailed within 2 business days of the class, and your office manager receives the full list for your records.
